Good morning everyone!
I have been very remiss at keeping everyone up-to-date about our family!!
Things are going well. Sherrianne is doing great and her knee has healed wonderfully!! It is so exciting to see her run--for the first time in her life--climb, jump--really just be a kid!!! What a wonderful gift we have been given. God has blessed us with wonderful doctors to partner with us on this journey. It is so wonderful to be able to see His hands guiding you through everything.
Mike and I are doing well. I've been working out and I do feel better. I would like to see a bigger weight loss, but my doctor assures me that slow is better. Now, my personality is such that I don't do anything slow. So, obviously God has something he wants to teach me. Mike's job is relatively stable. As stable as the mortgage industry can be. I pray that he could find a job that makes him feel more fulfilled and happy. It's very hard to stay motivated when you don't like your job. But, we are very thankful for the job.
Mike's brother is really struggling. He is having a very hard time finding a job and having a lot of time on your hands is not a good thing. Would you please remember to lift him up in prayer. He needs to see God's hand working. A very big praise is that he has sold his house in Delaware and they're going to close on the 30th of December. He's very thankful to be out from under that burden. We're looking forward to spending some time with him at Christmas.
My dad is doing okay. Our relationship is still shaky at best. His cancer on his nose has come back and he has a big place under one of his eyes. He told me the other day that he needs to have cataract surgery. I don't know...he's 81 years old. Is it really necessary???? He's suppose to be with us for Christmas. I'm not sure how that will turn out. I've just got to learn to ignore him when he pulls his stunts.
We have a new niece. Josie Ann. She's so beautiful and sweet. Her brother wanted a sister named Bruce-he likes the shark Bruce in Finding Nemo. So, I'm afraid Josie will have a life long nickname. I'm hoping to go and see her next week.
I pray that you all have a blessed Christmas season.
Love,
Wendy
