First, let me apologize. I have been challenged since the death of Phyllis Roth not to grumble or complain. I want people to see my life as a radiant witness for Christ. It has been very challenging for me. I pray you don't feel that I am complaining, I just want everyone to understand our lives so they can pray better for us.
Our first major prayer concern is her knee. The swelling has increased and we have some major bruising going on. So, we're back to our toes above our nose, which is extremely hard for a 7 year old. We're not sure what has caused it or why but we're back to dealing with things as we did in the beginning. So please pray that the bruising and swelling would come down. When the swelling is there that's pain and we so far have been able to control the pain with Ibuprofen--but she did need a Darvaset last night.
Secondly, please pray for both Sherrianne and I for emotional and mental strength. As I've mentioned before this surgery has been much more of a mental/emotional healing than anything. Sherrianne very much internalize things and through our different breakdowns we've been able to help her through them and understand that it's okay everything she is feeling. Thankfully, we've learned to start trying to draw her out on a daily basis--hopefully we will be able to help her learn to express herself more freely.
Thirdly, we are still battling with the insurance company and the bills are coming in. Pray for wisdom for us!!
